St. Kenelm's, Sapperton

A lovely church tucked away in a small and interesting village not far from Stroud, but which seems a million miles from anywhere. Huge yew trees line the path and the church itself features some amazing Jacobean panelling, effigies and some interesting decorations to the pew ends, apparently caryatids! Well worth a visit, especially as there are interesting walks nearby.
